The Private Security Industry Act 2001 clearly states that any individual working as a door supervisor in England or Wales must hold an SIA Licence to Practice. This can be obtained by achieving a qualification approved by the SIA. Door supervisors are responsible for people’s safety in premises such as pubs, bars and nightclubs. The course as a whole trains individuals in all aspects related to Door Supervising including how to deal with difficult, and sometimes even violent, situations. This particular training course helps individuals to distinguish when others are becoming aggressive, or when a situation becomes potentially dangerous, and equip themselves with the necessary skills required to calm and diffuse a situation before it gets out of hand.
Course Information
4 Day - Standard There are no formal entry requirements to the Door Supervisor course, however the minimum age requirement for entry into this course is 18. You will be asked to bring along Identification documents (drivers licence, passport) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement etc) along with 3 passport size pictures.
